What happens next?

The BID Board meets regularly to decide how to take the BID forward and how best the money raised can be spent.  The broad objectives of the BID were laid out in the original proposal documents and based on consultation and feedback from local businesses, which shaped the ‘A’s for Ulverston:
  • Attractive – enhancing impressions of the town and promoting Ulverston
  • Accessible – convenient and affordable information and access to Ulverston, including addressing concerns about parking costs.
  • Alive – supporting markets, events and festivals to bring the town to life.
  • Altogether - to involve the whole town in the work of the BID
